特展预告丨观看之道——威尼斯与苏州城市主题摄影展

2024年是马可·波罗逝世700周年，是中国和意大利两国建立全面战略伙伴关系20周年，同时也是意大利驻沪总领事馆文化处、苏州吴文化博物馆开展合作的第三年。

吴文化博物馆联合意大利驻沪总领事馆、意大利驻沪总领事馆文化处将于9月27日-12月1日举办“观看之道——威尼斯与苏州城市主题摄影展”。

苏州与威尼斯虽相隔万里，但都因水而生，因水而盛，均以“水城”闻名于世。自1980年苏州与威尼斯签署友好城市协议以来，两地在文化交流、世界文化遗产保护等方面开展合作，情谊愈加深厚。

本次展览邀请了国际著名摄影师乔瓦尼·卡普里奥蒂(Giovanni Capriotti)赴威尼斯、苏州进行拍摄，由达仁利、陈曾路、乔瓦尼·卡普里奥蒂(Giovanni Capriotti)共同策展，展出摄影作品160余幅，呈现苏州与威尼斯的城市面貌、人文风情、生活气息。以摄影作品为桥梁，东西方的两座水城于此展开对话，为两地的深厚友谊、文化交流续写新篇章。

威尼斯 / Venice

威尼斯，位于意大利东北部，是一座由118个小岛组成的城市，以其粉墙红船、浓墨重彩的水巷而闻名。这里运河纵横，桥梁如珠，每一座桥都有着独特的故事。著名的圣马可广场、总督宫和大运河两岸的建筑都是其辉煌历史的见证。威尼斯的文化生活丰富多彩，每年举办的威尼斯狂欢节和威尼斯电影节吸引了世界各地的游客和艺术家。

An old device stands amid a cluttered room, surrounded by towering shelves filled with folded papers, hinting at the passage of time. Wooden beams frame the space, evoking craftsmanship long abandoned. The muted tones of aging wood and the dust-covered tools suggest a forgotten world of labour, tradition, and artistry, still surviving, yet waiting for rediscovery.

Venice, water and the sun… The Arsenal is background of graceful and powerful figures on a majestic gondola. Timeless elegance here is an ode to tradition. The parade of ancient boats moves in from the background, gliding on the water, where history, ceremony and competition dance together in perfect harmony.

Between one ride and the other, a gondoliere seeks refuge in the shade of his hat. The screen in his hands reflects a distant world, while his body, immersed in stillness, becomes part of the surrounding landscape. The stripes of his shirt are symbol of a distant tradition blending with modernity and creating the local delicate balance between past and present.

苏州 / Suzhou

苏州，被誉为“东方威尼斯”，以其青瓦白墙、如中国水墨画般的水巷而闻名。苏州的园林是其文化的精髓，拙政园、留园、网师园等都是中国古典园林的代表。漫步古城之中，河道纵横交错，小桥流水人家的景象如诗如画。

Yunyan Temple Pagoda, also known as Tiger Hill Pagoda, was built in 959 and completed in 961 AD. It has a history of over one thousand years. Like Italy’s Leaning Tower of Pisa, the pagoda leans slightly. In 1956, during maintenance and restoration of the Yunyan Temple Pagoda, valuable cultural relics were discovered.

云岩寺塔也被称为虎丘塔，该塔建于五代后周显德六年（959年），落成于北宋建隆二年（961年），距今已有一千多年。和意大利的比萨斜塔一样，其塔身倾斜。1956年，在对云岩寺塔进行维护修复的过程中，发现了一批珍贵文物。

Giant pandas typically lead a lifestyle with less movement. They spend most of their time eating bamboo or sleeping, with daily sleep duration of up to 10 hours. The giant pandas “Xinyue” and “Zhuyun” live in the Taihu Lake Wetland Park. In the afternoon, they both slept. In the photo, Xinyue’s unique sleeping posture has amused netizens, who humorously refer to it as the “posture that cause blood to flow to the brain”.

由于竹子营养含量低，消化时间长，大熊猫通常表现出低活动量的生活方式，大部分时间里，它们都在吃竹子或睡觉，每天的睡眠时间可达10个小时。

大熊猫“新月”和“竹韵”居住在苏州的太湖国家湿地公园，在午后，它们都陷入了梦乡。照片中“新月”的睡姿非常独特，被网友笑称为“脑充血式睡姿”。

In Taihu Yugang Village, some villagers still live in the boats along the shore. Their simple, traditional lifestyle forms a contrast to the scenic spots along the lake, creating a unique cultural landscape.

In the photo, two seniors, who have lived on their boat for many years, step out of the cabin after an unexpected rain. Gazing out at the distant Taihu Lake and the village, they quietly chat, as if time has momentarily stood still.

在太湖渔港村，停泊在岸边的船只里还居住着一些村民，他们朴素传统的生活与湖边的赏景点构成鲜明对比，形成了一道独特的人文景观。

照片中的两位老人即常年居住在船上，突如其来的暴雨过后，他们走出船舱，眺望着远方的太湖与村庄，轻声拉着家常，时光仿佛在这一刻凝固。

Devotion to a Lifelong Pursuit 1

Located in Niujia Alley, Wenxueshanfang is a bookstore with a history of over one hundred years. The current owner, Jiang Chengbo, is the third-generation successor. At 98 years old, Mr. Jiang still diligently manages the bookstore every day. He has made significant contributions in the field of ancient book restoration and preservation of rare books. In the photo, Mr. Jiang and his daughter, Ms. Jiang, are showing Linjiangyi Tanci, written by Zhang Mengjuan, from Mr. Jiang’s personal collection.

文学山房位于钮家巷，这家书店已有百余年的历史，如今的店主江澄波是书店的第三代传人。江先生如今已98岁高龄，仍每日风雨无阻，坚守于书店中。江先生在古籍修复领域颇有建树，在抢救古籍珍本、提供资料方面亦作出重要贡献。

照片中，江先生和他的女儿江女士正在展示江先生收藏的张梦鹃所著的《临江驿弹词》。

The Grand Canal is one of the oldest canals in the world, and plays a crucial role in the economic and cultural development and exchange between northern and southern China. In June 2014, the Grand Canal was inscribed on the World Heritage List. Today, the Suzhou section remains one of the busiest segments of the entire canal.

京杭大运河是世界上最古老的运河之一。运河对中国南北地区之间的经济、文化发展与交流，特别是对沿线地区工农业经济的发展起了巨大作用。2014年6月，中国大运河被列入《世界遗产名录》。如今，苏州段运河依旧是京杭大运河货流强度最大的航段，也是整个大运河最繁忙的河段之一。

There are many old houses in the Pingjiang Road Historic District. During the rainy season, people need to regularly clear fallen leaves from the rooftops to prevent excessive leaf accumulation, which can block drainage and lead to roof leaks.

平江路历史街区里分布着许多旧宅，在雨水较多的季节里，人们往往要定期捡拾屋顶的落叶，以防瓦片上落叶堆积过多，造成排水不畅，房屋漏雨。

A sudden downpour sends tourists scurrying under the eaves for shelter along Pingjiang Road. The scene is filled with the essence of everyday life, where the tranquility of the rainy day contrasts with the hurried movements of the people.

13世纪下半叶，17岁的马可·波罗随家人经由丝绸之路来到中国。在中国期间足迹遍布中国西北、中部以及东南众多城市。而今2024年，在意大利驻沪总领事馆文化处和意大利地中海与东方学国际研究协会（ISMEO）的支持下，意大利著名摄影师乔瓦尼·卡普里奥蒂(Giovanni Capriotti)寻访威尼斯与苏州，循着马可·波罗的足迹，漫步街头巷尾，借由摄影镜头记录下这两座水城21世纪的城市风貌，以更加微观、多元的视角再现城市人文生活，完成了与马可·波罗横跨7个世纪的联结。

苏州与威尼斯，皆以水为脉。快来吴文化博物馆感受镜头下苏州的细腻温婉与威尼斯的浪漫迷人于此交汇的盛况。
