山丹军马场----世界第一大马场

山丹军马场位于县城东南50公里处，总面积2190平方公里。号称“世界第一、中国马都”的山丹军马场，是中国最美的六大生态草原之一，是国内最大的油菜连片生产基地，电影《牧马人》、《文成公主》、《和平年代》等30多部影视片先后在此拍摄，也是国内最佳的影视外景拍摄基地之一。

盛夏时节，在雪山映衬下，蓝天白云，草原碧绿，油菜金黄，花海如潮。把酒临风，纵马驰骋，令人心旷神怡，顿觉天地之博大和心灵之净美。

Shandan’s Army Horse Farm is located50 km southeast of the downtown, with a total area of2190km⊃2;.Dubbed the first horse farm in China, Shandan’s Army Horse Farm is one of the six most beautiful ecological grasslands in China. It has the nation's largest canola oil production base. The farm also is a popular location site for film production due to its luscious outdoor scenery, where more than thirty movies has been filmed, and is considered one of the best in China.

In the summer, there is a beautiful backdrop of snow-capped mountains, blue skies, white clouds, green grasslands, and golden flowers surrounding the farm, making it an ideal spot for relaxation with family or just those travelling through.
